Sandra Lucas My family and friends tease me because of the vast number of photos I take. I migrated to a digital SLR in 2011 when my sister and brother gifted me one. They could see how much fun I had and wanted to encourage me. It was such a blessing and I haven’t looked back (except to shoot images). There is no particular genre I enjoy shooting more than others. I love a close-up shot inviting me to be as still and quiet as I can; the excitement of capturing a cyclist crossing the finish line; and the beauty of an orange sunset...I love it all! I've had the immense honour publishing two images on a Greenpeace calendar; thrilled two photos were accepted for a fund raising poster for the Georgian Bay Land Trust and fortunate to be printed in a booklet for a Georgian Bay Islanders Association. Mostly I create for my own joy. How much better can it be!
